The rules about growing cannabis plants are different in places across the country as well as the world.
I have heard a great deal of horror stories while traveling from people who know others who have been unrightfully incarcerated after accidentally traveling with a certain amount of weed on their person.
I suppose a majority of people have had that feeling when they are about to board a plane where they think for a minute “oh no…did I accidentally leave some cannabis in my bag?” Most of the time, this is merely just panic setting in after hearing all the horrendous horror stories of being thrown in jail in a foreign country… One of the stories I have heard will seriously shock any traveling stoner. A pretty good friend of mine was growing weed in a country on the continent of Asia. He easily was aware of the rules of the country he was visiting, however decided to take the sizable risk anyway. He knew that there was a small risk of being caught. He was visiting this country from America when he soon realized that finding weed was not as simple as it was in America. He made the choice to find a job at a local eating establishment so that he could uproot his life in America plus stay in the country he was visiting for a certain while. In order to supplement his income, he thought it would be nice to grow marijuana, regardless of the rules that he had agreed to follow as a visitor in this very strict country.
